Ama Dablam

Ama Dablam is one of the most beautiful and recognizable peaks in the Himalayas, rising to 6812 meters above sea level. It sits in the Khumbu region of Nepal, close to Everest, and is considered one of the most sought-after technical climbing peaks in the world. Its sharp, elegant shape earned it the nickname "the Matterhorn of the Himalayas," and its name, "Mother's Necklace," comes from the hanging glacier on its flanks that looks like a pendant on the mother's neck. The route to the summit climbs the south-west ridge and combines rock, ice and mixed climbing, with exposed sections and fixed ropes along the way. The trek to base camp passes through the Khumbu valley, past Sherpa villages and monasteries, with views of Everest and Lhotse. The climb requires good fitness, previous technical climbing experience and acclimatization to altitude, and it suits experienced climbers looking for a genuine technical challenge in the Himalayas. Join us on a journey to one of the most beautiful peaks in the world and take a meaningful part in the fight against cancer!
