Himlung Himal
Himlung Himal is an impressive climbing peak in the Himalayas, rising to 7126 meters above sea level. It sits in the remote Nar-Phu valley in northern Nepal, near the Tibetan border, in the region between Manaslu and Annapurna. Himlung is considered one of the best peaks in the world for a first climb at 7000 meters, and it serves as excellent preparation for expeditions to the eight-thousanders. The trek to base camp passes through remote valleys and Tibetan-style villages, far from the tourist trails. The climb itself involves acclimatization rotations between the high camps, crossing snow slopes and glaciers, and using fixed ropes on the way to the summit. The climb requires good fitness, previous mountaineering experience and acclimatization to altitude, but it is considered relatively accessible and suits climbers looking for a first taste of climbing at 7000 meters. Join us on a journey to your first 7000m peak and take a meaningful part in the fight against cancer!
