Manaslu
Manaslu, the "Mountain of the Spirit," rises to 8163 meters in the heart of the Himalayas in Nepal, the eighth-highest mountain on earth and one of the 14 highest peaks in the world above 8000 meters. For experienced climbers, Manaslu is the gateway to the world of the 8000ers: a serious high-altitude expedition, one that welcomes those who have already stood on 6000 and 7000 meter peaks. The way to base camp winds through remote villages and deep valleys at the foot of the range, far from the crowded trekking trails. From there the climb itself begins: acclimatization and rotations between the high camps, glacier travel past crevasses, and fixed-rope climbing toward the summit. Manaslu is considered one of the more technically accessible 8000ers, but it demands excellent fitness, mental preparation, and close professional support. The moment you ascend above eight thousand meters, an endless horizon of Himalayan peaks opens before you. It is a place only a few in the world ever reach! Join us on the journey to your first mountain above 8000 meters, and take a meaningful part in the fight against cancer.
